Sheer Driving Pleasure

OEM (Automobile Manufacturer) — provides use cases, data, interfaces, and requirements; assumes responsibility for project organization/coordination as well as the implementation and deployment lead for the prototype.

As a global automobile manufacturer, the partner provides the operational use cases and the technical environment in which a large part of the consortium's work takes place. The partner provides central databases, interfaces, and detailed requirements that serve as the basis for prototype development. Approximately half of the defined use cases originate from its domain, which is why there is a strong focus on interoperability, data provisioning, and lifecycle management. Within the project, the partner also takes on project organization and coordination and leads the implementation and deployment of the KIMBA prototype as well as defined sub-scopes. This ensures that industry standards, operating environments, and security requirements are taken into account at an early stage.
